Now, Sarah felt a mixture of lethargy and annoyance at the interruption. Would it be so hard to pick up the thread of her thought? She yawned. It’s probably just too warm here, she thought, and rolled over to the right side of the bed to open the curtains and windows, to let some fresh air in. Outside, the traffic below her rushed like a river after a week of rain.
